Fire damages three-story home

Firefighters were called to the 600 block of Kinnaird Avenue, west of Fairfield Avenue, about 2:30 a.m. Saturday and found heavy fire coming from the rear of a large three-story home, the Fort Wayne Fire Department said.

Crews were able to contain the blaze to the back of the first floor and had it under control a short time later, according to the fire department.

No one was home at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
