Police: 3 die in Indianapolis apartment shooting

– Police say three people have died after a shooting at an apartment building in Indianapolis.

When officers arrived at the building Sunday night, they found one man with a gunshot wound lying outside the building and another two victims – a man and a woman – with gunshot wounds inside the building.

Indianapolis police say the three were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were immediately available including whether police were seeking any suspects.

Earlier Sunday, one man was killed and a woman was wounded during a shooting at an Indianapolis clothing store. Police say two teenagers have been arrested in that shooting.

Last year, Indianapolis had 125 homicides, its highest tally in seven years. This year, violence is on track to outpace 2013.
