More than 400 youths from the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend sing during a rehearsal Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for the Pueri Cantores Mass. It is the first time the annual Mass has been held in Fort Wayne.
Lee Gwozdz, director of music for Corpus Christi (Texas) Cathedral, conducts the children during rehearsal. The event is sponsored by the American Federation Pueri Cantores (Latin for “young choristers”), which is the official children’s choral organization of the Catholic Church.
