Bridge work restricts Coliseum traffic

Photos by Cathie Rowand | The Journal Gazette
ABOVE: Coliseum Boulevard traffic makes its way past construction equipment Tuesday as crews work on the bridge over the St. Joseph River. Westbound lanes on Coliseum near the bridge will be restricted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the end of the month, as will Anthony Boulevard’s northbound turn lane onto Coliseum.
RIGHT: Posts rise from the water next to the bridge, which spans Coliseum near Johnny Appleseed Park and IPFW. While traffic is restricted, crews with Primco Inc. will build a temporary bridge on the westbound side of Coliseum as part of a bridge and trail improvement project.
