Coliseum bridge restricted both ways beginning Thursday

The inside lanes of both eastbound and westbound Coliseum Boulevard will be restricted between Crescent and Parnell avenues as crews build a temporary bridge, the Indiana Department of Transportation said.

Beginning Thursday, the restrictions will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, the transportation department said in a statement.

It said the inside turn lane for westbound traffic to Anthony Boulevard will also be closed Thursday as a barrier wall is set from the west side of the intersection for about 900 feet.

The closures are scheduled to be completed by late March, weather permitting, the statement said.
