Easter Bone Hunt is April 19

Statement as distributed Wednesday by Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control:

Dogs everywhere are invited to grab a leash and join the fun at the sixth annual Easter Bone Hunt sponsored by Happy Dogs Daycare to support pet adoptions at Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control.

The event will be held at Franke Park on Saturday, April 19. Registration starts at 12 p.m. inside pavilion one. The Bone Hunt starts at 1:30 p.m. Dogs are admitted with a $10 donation to Animal Care & Control to then sniff out treat filled Easter eggs and qualify for prize baskets. Enjoy dog-friendly games, meeting vendors and having a photo taken with the Easter Bunny. More prizes are available with raffle tickets to increase funding for homeless animals.
