Burglary charge after suspect goes back for shoes

An 18-year-old man was arrested Sunday night after police said he forced his way into a home and robbed the residents at gunpoint.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Frank Hall Jr., of the 3900 block of Harris Road, was arrested on preliminary charges with burglary resulting in bodily injury and armed robbery.

According to a police report, Hall knocked on the door of an apartment in the 5200 block of St. Joe Road and asked to use the restroom around 9:45 p.m. When the residents opened the door, two men with ski masks forced their way inside along with Hall.

One of the people with Hall had a gun and pushed the gun into the head of one of the men inside the house. Another man was hit in the head with the gun. The robbers made off with two televisions and an Xbox, according to court documents.

When Hall fled the scene, he ran out of his shoes on the ground outside. As he walked back to retrieve them, he was arrested, according to a police report.
