Sustainable home, neighborhood certification offered

Statement as issued Tuesday by Purdue Horticulture Extension in Fort Wayne:

Purdue Horticulture Extension – Allen County - with the assistance of Master Gardener volunteers and other experts – has developed a program where citizens and neighborhood associations can earn certification and special recognition and awards by using specific sustainable practices in their home gardens and landscapes. Learn more about this program by attending one of two Callout meetings at the Allen County Extension office on Sat, April 12, @ 10:00 AM, Or Sat. April 26 at 1:30 PM. Interested citizens can also email kemeryr@purdue.edu to request a packet of information about this program.
