Saint Francis women in Final Four

The Saint Francis women’s basketball team defeated Southwestern (Kan.) 76-61 on Saturday to advance to the NAIA Division II national championship tournament Final Four.

The Cougars (36-0) had four players score double digits led by Kalah Baer’s 25 points and 12 rebounds. Skylarr Shurn scored 18, Jennelle Wilson had 17 and Brooke Ridley added 11.

Montana Rickey led the Builders (30-5) with 15 and Sheri Zoglmann added 13.

Saint Francis is set to play in the semifinal game against Morningside (Iowa) or Cardinal Stritch at 7 p.m. Monday. The game will be aired live on ESPN3.
