Flood warning issued

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a flood warning for the St. Joseph River in Fort Wayne.

The warning is in effect until Monday morning.

At 4 a.m. Saturday the river was 13.4 feet and rising. It is forecast to crest near 13.6 feet later today. Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

Minor flooding is occurring and the weather service said no more than minor flooding is expected.

The weather service said that all rivers in the region are running high.
