Saint Francis men fall in OT

The Saint Francis men’s basketball team lost to Robert Morris (Illinois) 69-66 in overtime in the first round of the NAIA Div. II national tournament Thursday in Point Lookout, Mo.

Robert Morris’ Demarko Nash hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer from at the end of regulation to tie the game at 62.

Robert Morris (24-9) outscored the Cougars (21-11) 7-4 in overtime.

For Saint Francis, Austin Fox led the way with 18 points, Josh Hogan had 17 and Scott Kohne added 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The Cougars led 30-29 at halftime after falling behind 7-0 early in the first half.
