Toll Road issues winter weather ban

The Indiana Toll Road has issued a winter weather ban from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday for the entire length of the highway.

The ban affects only triple tractor-trailers, low- and high-profile long doubles and high-profile oversize permit loads, the Indiana Toll Road Concession Co. said in a statement.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for heavy snow and blowing snow along the highway's entire route.
