Wintry mix expected today

A wintry mix of precipitation is expected today in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio, the National Weather Service says.

The weather service says rain and sleet is expected to become mixed with and then change to mostly snow before ending. Some areas of freezing rain also are possible, but amounts should be light and isolated, it says.

In Kosciusko, LaGrange and Wabash counties, untreated roads could become slick in spots, so extra caution is suggested, the weather service says.
