Mad Ants top Red Claws

The Mad Ants beat the Maine Red Claws 113-104 Thursday in Portland, Maine.

Fort Wayne (24-14) outscored Maine (16-22) 34-21 in the fourth quarter.

The Mad Ants have won three straight and eight of their last 10 to remain in first in rthe D-League's East Division. The Mad Ants are 11-8 on the road, the only team in the division with a record above .500 away from home.

Jamaal Franklin led the Mad Ants with 32 points. Trey McKinney Jones had 21 points for Fort Wayne, and Ron Howard added 18. Matt Bouldin scored 12, and Will Frisby had 10.

The Mad Ants forced the Red Claws into 27 turnovers, while committing only 12 themselves.
