Benefit orientation set for ex-Navistar workers

Statement as issued Tuesday by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development:

Indianapolis – Workers formerly employed at the Navistar Truck Development and Technology Center covered by the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Act, (which includes on-site employees from Populus Group, Technical Training, Inc., PPP Careers, OTEK Professional Services, Staffmark, Inc., and Mid-States Technical), are invited to a benefit orientation session scheduled to occur at WorkOne on East Rudsill Boulevard in Ft Wayne next Thursday, March 13 at 10 a.m.

TAA benefits include wage replacement, education and training assistance, as well as other job-seeking services depending on worker eligibility. Workers formerly employed at the Navistar Truck Development and Technology Center are strongly encouraged to contact WorkOne Ft. Wayne as soon as possible to confirm their attendance.
