Undefeated UConn, Irish remain atop women's basketball poll

Connecticut remains No. 1 in the Associated Press' women's college basketball poll Monday after two easy wins in the last week.

UConn improved to 30-0 after routing SMU and Rutgers. The Huskies have won 36 straight games dating back to last season, the third-longest streak in school history. Connecticut will visit No. 3 Louisville on Monday night.

Notre Dame stays unanimous at No. 2. The Irish finished off their regular season unbeaten after beating North Carolina and North Carolina State.

Stanford and South Carolina flipped places to round out the first five.

Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland, Baylor and Duke follow the Gamecocks.
