How many inches of snow fell Sunday morning? We have totals

Snow was piling up across Northeast Indiana on Sunday morning.

Here are the totals so far:

  • 3.7 inches in Allen County at 7:54 a.m.
  • 3.5 inches in Elkhart County at 7:30 a.m.
  • 3 inches in Huntington County at 6:30 a.m.
  • Columbia City in Whitley County had 2.5 inches at 7:16 a.m.
  • Churubusco in Whitley County had 4 inches at 6:30 a.m.
  • Kosciusko County had 2.6 inches at 7 am.
  • Steuben County had 2.1 inches at 7:09 a.m.
The total daytime accumulation today is predicted to be about one inch in Fort Wayne, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight there is a 40 percent chance of snow before 1 a.m., and temperatures will drop to about 5 degrees with a wind chill as low as -10 degrees, the Weather Service said.
