50-year-old killed by dump truck is identified

A 50-year-old New Haven man who was trapped under a dump truck and died Friday has been identified.

Todd Fritcha’s death has been ruled an accident by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

New Haven police officers and members of the New Haven Adams Township Fire Department were sent to 7500 Indiana 930 shortly before 9 a.m. The man died at the scene, police said in a statement.

The death is under investigation by New Haven police, Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Indiana State Police and the coroner’s office.
