    A Fort Wayne family won’t be able to spend Thanksgiving at home after a fire gutted their house Wednesday. Smoke and flames were already visible from the two-story home at 3920 S. Anthony Blvd.

Industrial fire extinguished

Firefighters extinguished a blaze Friday night in an industrial building on West Coliseum Boulevard.

The fire was reported at 7:27 p.m. at Geiger Excavating at 2808 West Coliseum.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a stand-alone garage. Crews forced their way inside and found the fire in a paint booth.

The fire was under control at 7:45 p.m. and the cause is under investigation. Damage was minimal to the structure and contents. There were no injuries, the fire department said.
