Tony Mitchell had 19 points for the Mad Ants, and Trey McKinney-Jones had 19 points and a career-best 11 rebounds.
Jamaal Franklin, in his first game since being sent down by the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies, had 18 points, six rebounds and six assists. All-Star Ron Howard had 16 points and five assists.
Matt Bouldin had 15 points and Sadiel Rojas had nine points with 13 rebounds for the Mad Ants (22-14), who play host to Iowa tonight at Memorial Coliseum.
The BayHawks (11-25) squandered an eight-point lead in front of 3,438 fans at Erie Insurance Arena. Ricky Davis scored 25 points for Erie, and Justin Brownlee had 18. The BayHawks' Lewis Jackson had 14 assists.
A layup by Micah Downs put the BayHawks up 70-64 with 6:02 remaining in the third quarter, but the Mad Ants went on a 25-10 run to take control, culminating with a McKinney-Jones jump shot for a 89-80 lead with 8:56 remaining in the game.
Fort Wayne is 3-1 this season against Erie, which has lost its last three games.
