Child porn charge filed after computers seized

Strunk

An Albion man is scheduled for an initial hearing Wednesday on a child pornography charge stemming from an investigation in which computers were taken from his home.

On Monday, Noble County Prosecutor Steven Clouse filed a formal criminal charge against Robert E. Strunk III, 40, of the 800 block of Rolling River Run.

Strunk is charged with a single count of possession of child pornography, which alleges that on Dec. 11 he was found to have multiple digitized images that depicted sexual conduct of a minor younger than 18 years old. Bail has been set at $4,500.

According to court documents, three computers were seized during a search of Strunk’s house and two of them had child pornography images.

The prosecutor said officers were told in November that Strunk was having an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
