Election Board names new rep

Thomas Hardin will replace Zachary Klutz as the Republican representative on the Allen County Election Board.

Klutz resigned when Gov. Mike Pence appointed him to the Indiana Election Commission. Hardin was appointed by Allen County Republican party chairman, Steve Shine.

Because of the appointment, Hardin's duties as the county attorney for the Election Board will be reassigned to another attorney. Hardin also serves on the Indiana Probate Code Study Commission and the Allen County Ethics Commission.

"I look forward to helping maintain the high level of excellence that the citizens of Allen County have come to expect from the Election Board," Hardin said.
