Chargers cruise to win over Panthers

Chandler White scored 18 points – he made 7 of 13 shots – to lead Carroll to a 71-60 victory over visiting Snider in boys basketball Tuesday night.

White added five rebounds.

Teammate Kyle Mallers scored 16 points. Jeffrey Kalonji and Kelham Brown both added 11 for the Chargers, who trailed by two before a 38-22 run in the second and third quarters combined.

Snider’s Devlyn Williams was 10 of 13 from the field for 24 points, and he had eight rebounds.

Leander Williams had 13 points.

NORTHROP 67, EAST NOBLE 44: In Kendallville, Enis Becirevic scored 18 points.

Jajuan Starks, Aaron Thomas and Jagger Surface had 10 apiece for the Bruins.

East Noble’s Mason Haines had 12 points.

WARSAW 52, ELKHART CHRISTIAN 47: In Warsaw, Jordan Stookey had 16 points and six rebounds for the Tigers.

Teammates Paul Marandet and Kyle Mangas each had nine points.

The game was tied at halftime.

Elkhart Christian’s Cory Waycaster had 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting.

Teammate Jakhari Wilbert added 12 for the Bulldogs.

Canterbury’s Trevor Uhl had 15 points.

WEST NOBLE 87, FREMONT 69: In Ligonier, Drew Schermerhorn had 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting.

His teammates, Brandon Evans and Phil Miller, scored 16 apiece for the Chargers.

The Eagles got 21 points from Alex Beams.
