Howard had seven rebounds and seven assists in addition to his 21 points, and Porter led the Ants with eight boards. The Ants outrebounded Springfield 14-9 on the offensive end.

The Mad Ants led 53-50 at the half before Springfield outscored them 38-28 in the third quarter.

But the Ants opened the fourth quarter with a 12-2 run and never looked back, outscoring Springfield 36-20 in the final quarter.
