Fort Wayne residents urged to clear storm drains

FORT WAYNE – City officials are asking residents to help prevent street flooding by removing ice and snow that is blocking storm drains.

“When snow melts it needs to be able to flow to a storm drain but can sometimes get blocked by debris and ice dams near storm inlets,” Fort Wayne City Utilities said in a statement issued Wednesday.
