No survivors in Algerian military plane crash

ALGIERS, Algeria – Algerian state radio says a military transport plane has crashed in the east of the country killing all on board.

Initial reports said 99 people died, but an intelligence official later said 103 people are dead.

The plane was flying Tuesday from the southern city of Ouargla to the town of Oum El Bouaghi, 220 miles east of Algiers.

Witnesses said it clipped a mountain and then crashed.
