Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Ave., will have a Taize meditation and worship service at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Victory Noll Center, 1900 W. Park Drive in Huntington, will take part in the One Billion Rising campaign on Friday to bring awareness of violence against women. Jack Heller, assistant professor of English at Huntington University, has started the Shakespeare at Pendleton, a program at the correctional facility to guide inmates through the study and performance of Shakespeare.
