2 oppose Stutzman in primary

U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman has two challengers for the Republican nomination in Indiana's 3rd District.

Mark William Baringer filed his candidacy with the Indiana secretary of state's office on Friday, the deadline for candidates to declare for the May 6 Republican and Democratic primary elections. Political Notebook was unable to reach Baringer for information about him. Stutzman, a LaGrange County farmer seeking his third full term in Congress, and James Mahoney III of Huntington filed their candidacies earlier. Candidates for the Democratic nomination in the 3rd District are Justin Kuhnle of Kendallville, Jim Redmond of Auburn and Tommy Schrader of Fort Wayne.
