Pacer on way to Mad Ants

Orlando Johnson heading to Fort Wayne

The Indiana Pacers have assigned guard Orlando Johnson to the Mad Ants, and he should be in the lineup Saturday against Sioux Falls at Memorial Coliseum.

The Mad Ants currently have two other NBA players: Peyton Siva and Tony Mitchell of the Detroit Pistons.

Last season, Johnson averaged 23.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.3 assist in four games with the Mad Ants.

This season, he's averaged 2.5 points and 9.4 minutes in 36 games with the Pacers.

The Mad Ants have also had NBA players Solomon Hill from the Pacers and Jamaal Franklin from the Memphis Grizzlies.
