Carroll's Tranquill signs with Notre Dame

Carroll's Drue Tranquill is part of Notre Dame's football team.

The Irish announced receiving the linebacker's letter of intent on national signing day. Notre Dame lists Tranquill as a defensive back on its website.

Tranquill had originally committed to Purdue, but after receiving a scholarship offer from Notre Dame, he decided to change his decision.
