Allen County under winter weather travel advisory

Statement as issued Wednesday morning by Allen County officials:

A Winter Weather Travel ADVISORY has been issued for all of Allen County.

An advisory means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

County highway crews continue to work to remove snow from roads this morning. However, motorists should be aware of blowing and drifting snow, especially along east-west roads and some areas may be impassable. If travel is a necessity, please drive slowly and have emergency supplies in vehicles, along with a cell phone.
