Indiana Toll Road issues winter weather ban

Indiana Toll Road officials announced Tuesday morning that a ban on triple tractor-trailers, long-doubles, steel haulers and high-profile oversize permit loads will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

All other vehicles are permitted.

It is expected to remain in effect through 5 p.m. Wednesday, although officials said they would re-evaluate the ban at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The ban is for the entire length of the Toll Road.
