A report received Thursday morning:

Fort Wayne Fire Department units were called to a 80,000 square foot tractor trailer repair facility at 8222 Bluffton Road with an active water flow from a pipe.

Upon further investigation, the first arriving unit found smoke coming from the facility. Entry was gained and crews encountered heavy smoke in a very large building with multiple car hauling semis located inside. One of the tractor trailers was found to be on fire deep inside the structure.

Crews extinguished the fire and spent a considerable amount of time clearing the smoke from the building.
