Undercover meth buy ends in arrests

Goble
Prater

Two northeastern men were being held at the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond, accused of selling meth to undercover officers.

Narcotics officers bought the meth after receiving a tip and then stopped the suspects' vehicle near Winona Avenue and Lake Street about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Warsaw Police Department.

Chad Goble, 34, of Mentone, and George Prater, 31, of Akron, were charged with dealing methamphetamine, the police said.

A 21-years-old Akron woman was also arrested on a misdemeanor charge of visiting a common nuisance. The police identified her, but The Journal Gazette does not routinely publish the names of those charged with only misdemeanors.
