Man shot, serious

A man told police he was shot in the 2700 block of Stardale Drive on Saturday.

The man, who in a police report was listed in serious condition, was possibly hit while walking to a car.

He and another person were walking to the car after being inside an apartment complex there when they could both hear people talking “as if their windows were open,” according to the police report.

Then the shots rang out.

They then drove a few buildings north to get away from the gunfire before calling police, the report said.

The report did not specify where the man was hit.
