Water main break to close section of Fairfield

The 4100 block of Fairfield Avenue near Lexington Avenue will be closed beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday for four to six hours due to an emergency water main repair.

The Water Maintenance Service will repair the damaged line in the roadway and reinstall service to the area, according to a statement issued by the city.

The official detour will use Rudisill Boulevard, Calhoun Street and Pettit Avenue.
