Woman charged in cocaine sales

A woman called “Lucky” faces three felony counts of dealing cocaine, accused of repeatedly selling the drug to undercover officers at an apartment complex.

Markee J. Martin, 24, was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

On Sept. 10, an undercover officer met Martin in a convenience store within the Twin Oaks apartment complex, 2754 E. Paulding Road, and bought $300 worth of cocaine, court records said.

On Sept. 26, Martin asked the undercover officer to meet her in the area of Radcliffe and Stardale drives within the apartment complex to buy $250 worth of cocaine. On Jan. 16, an undercover officer bought $450 worth of cocaine from Martin at the complex, court records said.

Martin, of the 500 block of Candlelite Court, was arrested Jan. 16 and preliminarily charged with dealing in cocaine or a narcotic drug.
