Frigid temperatures expected tonight

Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio are in for extremely cold temperatures tonight and possibly more snow tomorrow, according to a forecast issued at 4 p.m. Tuesday by the National Weather Service in northern Indiana.

It said temperatures in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio will rapidly fall this evening to near or slightly below zero, with wind chills of 10 to 15 below zero.

The region is likely to get some snow Wednesday, but the weather service said the heaviest snow is expected to fall in northwest Indiana.
