1 hurt after crash

A two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 69 in DeKalb County sent one woman to the hospital with shoulder and neck pain.

At 2:18 p.m., Robert W. Stevens of Fort Wayne was driving his 2005 GMC Sierra on I-69 southbound when he exited the ramp at County Road 11A, according to a report from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.

Lynann G. Sonafrank of Columbia City was driving west on County Road 11A in her 2004 Pontiac Grand Am when Stevens began making a left turn. Sonafrank struck Stevens’ Sierra on the rear driver’s side, according to the report.

Sonafrank, 61, was transported to DeKalb Health for neck and shoulder pain.

Stevens, 28, was not injured in the crash, according to the report.
