5 students, 2 employees hurt when buses crash

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Public Schools’ officials say five students and two employees were taken to the hospital after two school buses collided on the city’s southeast side.

WISH-TV reports (http://bit.ly/LPTvNR) the buses collided about 11:30 a.m. when one bus slid on a patch of ice and rear ended another bus at a stop sign.

School officials said the seven were taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
