Suspected heroin dealer arrested

A Fort Wayne man was arrested Wednesday on four counts of heroin dealing after police pulled his vehicle over.

Jeffrey Milton White, 48, of the 2300 block of South Harrison Street, was being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.

Fort Wayne police vice and narcotics officers spotted White driving a red Pontiac in the 100 block of East DeWald Street and followed him until other officers in marked cars could gather to arrest him, police said.

White was stopped at 5:10 p.m. at Pontiac and Winter streets and taken into custody without incident. He’s charged with four counts of dealing heroin, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
