‘Rush’ star to announce Oscar nods

Hemsworth

Actor Chris Hemsworth will be on hand Thursday to announce Academy Award nominees, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences announced in a news release Friday.

The “Avengers” and “Rush” star will be joined by academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs starting at 8:38 a.m. Fort Wayne time.

The Oscars will be handed out March 2.
