More snow expected; freezing rain possible

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana says the region can expect to see light snow starting Thursday afternoon and that it could turn into freezing rain overnight.

The new snowfall in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio is expected to be an inch or less, the weather service said.

Light freezing rain could start in the late evening, according to the forecast.

Rainfall and melting snow could lead to some flooding starting this weekend.
