I-69 is clear at Union Chapel

Indiana State Police released this statement about 2:55 p.m. Wednesday: The lane restrictions on I-69 at the Union Chapel Road overpass (317 mile marker) have been lifted and traffic in all lanes (is) once again moving smoothly.

FORT WAYNE – A rollover crash in the median on Interstate 69 had northbound and southbound traffic down to one lane at the Union Chapel Road overpass, the Indiana State Police said about 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Drivers are asked to be patient and use caution in the area. Emergency crews are working to clear and open the lanes.
