Decatur under boil alert; asked to conserve water

Statement as issued Tuesday by John August, Adams County EMA director:

The City of Decatur experienced a major water main break late last evening. Water supplies are currently limited so we are asking resident of Decatur to conserve water usage as much as possible for the next several days. Repairs are underway but it will be several days before the water supply is replenished. We are also putting a boil advisory alert for all water use in the City of Decatur until further notice.
