Kendallville extends travel warning

Statement as issued Monday afternoon by the city of Kendallville:

Kendallville Local Disaster Emergency Ordinance 1148, effective immediately, Kendallville remains in the “Warning” status until 12 noon Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Warning is the highest level of local travel advisory and such declaration shall supersede any previously issued declaration for the same event.

Travel on city streets shall be restricted to authorized vehicles only.

It shall be unlawful for any person or corporation to cause snow to be removed from their premises and placed upon streets in the city.

Parking on Snow Routes throughout the City is strictly forbidden.

Kendallville City offices will also be closed until noon tomorrow.
