Charges allege sex with 2nd underage girl

A Fort Wayne man facing trial for allegedly having sex with an underage girl is now accused of carrying on a seven-year sexual relationship with a different underage girl.

Allen County prosecutors formally charged Timothy L. Hall, 44, this week with seven felony counts of child molesting and two felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.

A 15-year-old girl told police in November that Hall, of the 2700 block of Manford Street, began molesting her when she was about 9 years old in 2006. When she was 10, the girl’s mother found birth control pills in her bedroom, according to Allen Superior Court documents.

The girl told police by the time she became a teen, she and Hall had progressed to a “boyfriend-girlfriend type relationship,” the documents said.

Hall and the girl stopped having sex after he was arrested for allegedly having sex with another 15-year-old girl last year.

In that case, Hall has been formally charged with two felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and a misdemeanor count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He is in jail awaiting trial.

While in jail, Hall wrote letters to the girl he had been having a relationship with, according to court documents.

These letters asked her to keep in shape for when he got out and to refrain from sex with anyone else.

“Please don’t be that type of girl that love me when I’m around and a wild flirty girl when I’m not,” one letter read, according to court documents.
