Lazare back with Mad Ants

The Mad Ants announced they have acquired Darnell Lazare.

Lazare, a 6-foot-8 forward from LSU, played for the Mad Ants in 2010-11 and 2011-12 before heading to Australia to play for the Sydney Kings of the Australian NBL during the 2012-13 season.

While in Fort Wayne, Darnell averaged 16.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game during the 2010-11 season and 15.5 points and 7 rebounds per game during the 2011-12 season when he also earned a spot on the NBA D-League All-Star team.

Darnell is expected to play in tonight’s contest against the Iowa Energy at Memorial Coliseum at 7:30 p.m.
