Three people shot early in New Year

Three people were shot just after midnight at the 4800 block of Reed St.

Fort Wayne police say that when officers arrived at the scene, they found three victims inside the residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. All three victims were conscious.

The victims were transported to an area hospital in serious condition. After arrival to the hospital, one of the victims was downgraded to critical condition by a doctor.

Police say the victims were at a party at the residence when several people stepped outside. That is when witnesses say the shooting occurred.

No arrests have been made and there are no suspects at this time; the investigation is ongoing
