Komets have a new captain

The Komets, who had been without a captain since trading Nick Tuzzolino to Elmira on Nov. 25, have made Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock the captain.

He will don the C tonight against the Toledo Walleye.

Coach Gary Graham informed the players Thursday night.

Since trading Tuzzolino for Jordon Southorn, the Komets had used three alternate captains -- Schrock, Brandon Marino and Mickey Lang.

Schrock hails from Fort Wayne.
